David wrote this Psalm in a “the sky is falling” moment. Voices all around were telling him that everything was coming unhinged. But God’s people do not join Chicken Little’s hysterical parade.
Revelation 4 & 5 paints a picture of authentic and genuine worship, where God’s creatures praise their Creator and Redeemer for all He’s worth. That picture stands in stark contrast to the counterfeit attempts at worship in Isaiah.
